Job Description
To use business requirements to create or revise company documents in accordance with forms management standards and/or Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS) requirements. To enforce controls that support quality assurance and ensure forms conform to desired specifications.
Design forms by using appropriate software and applying applicable corporate document standard design principles. Test and evaluate output for desired function and design. Review and proofread composed forms.
Monitor and analyze form layout and design and make recommendations for forms improvement.
Manage forms inventory as necessary by monitoring stock usage, controlling the process of ordering documents through appropriate vendors, and other activities necessary to ensure inventory is supplied appropriately.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associates degree with emphasis in business, insurance, writing or analysis preferred, or equivalent experience in forms design and management may be considered.
Three years experience in property/casualty insurance business with knowledge of policy language and forms or other applicable experience required.
Experience with Microsoft Office products and forms design software required.
PreferredUnderstanding of forms design, development and management processes preferred.
Certifications in Forms Design or Management, General Insurance (GI) and/or Process Management preferred.
