Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, generally 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Occasional schedule flexibility may be required to participate in leadership meetings, shadowing opportunities, and special projects.

Compensation: $30.38 – $43.75 per hour

The Craig Hospital Administrative Fellowship is a highly immersive, learner-centered leadership development experience designed for emerging healthcare leaders who are eager to make a meaningful impact.

This isn't a two-year job. It's a two-year launchpad.

As a fellow, you won't be limited to a single department or function. Instead, you'll spend two years gaining hands-on experience through customized rotations, strategic project work, executive exposure, and mentorship opportunities across a nationally recognized healthcare organization. Working closely with senior leaders, physicians, and operational teams, you'll develop a comprehensive understanding of healthcare administration while building the leadership, analytical, and project management skills needed to excel in your future career.

Through department rotations, organizational initiatives, committee participation, and leadership development opportunities, fellows gain exposure to the many facets of healthcare administration while contributing meaningful work that supports Craig Hospital's mission and strategic priorities.

While the fellowship does not guarantee placement with Craig Hospital upon completion, fellows leave the program with an exceptional breadth of experience, a robust professional network, and the skills and confidence to pursue leadership opportunities across the healthcare industry. Position Summary

The Administrative Fellowship is a two-year, project-based and rotational training program that provides valuable exposure to healthcare leadership through participation in meetings, strategic initiatives, project management activities, and department rotations throughout the organization.

The Administrative Fellow will report to the Vice President of People and Culture while collaborating with leaders across the hospital through established rotations and project assignments. Because no two fellows have identical goals, the experience is intentionally designed to provide flexibility and opportunities for individualized learning and professional growth.

Essential Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with executive and senior leadership to implement and support projects related to Craig Hospital's strategic priorities
• Lead and contribute to projects that improve operations, support departments, and advance organizational goals
• Participate in organizational meetings, committees, and leadership discussions while effectively communicating outcomes and recommendations
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical leaders, and operational teams to accomplish project goals and timelines
• Develop healthcare management and leadership competencies through rotational experiences and project work
• Identify opportunities for operational improvement, efficiency, and systems enhancement
• Demonstrate initiative by taking on new challenges, leadership opportunities, and hospital-wide deliverables
• Support the planning, recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and transition of future fellowship cohorts
• Serve as a positive representative of Craig Hospital's mission, values, and culture
• Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications

Education

• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or a related field; OR
• Current graduate-level degree candidate from an accredited college or university who will complete their degree prior to the fellowship start date

Candidate Eligibility

• External candidates must be within 12 months of graduation from their master's degree program
• Internal candidates must be within three years of graduation from their master's degree program

Preferred Qualifications

While healthcare experience is highly valued, we welcome applicants from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds who can bring transferable skills and diverse perspectives to healthcare leadership.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Internship, fellowship, employment, practicum, or other experiential learning within healthcare
• Exposure to healthcare operations, administration, strategy, quality improvement, or patient experience initiatives
• Experience within service-oriented industries that emphasize customer service, relationship building, and operational excellence
• Leadership experience through graduate programs, student organizations, employment, volunteer work, or community involvement
• Working knowledge of healthcare delivery systems and healthcare administration principles
• Demonstrated experience managing projects, leading initiatives, or coordinating teams
