Job Description
Our Solutions Protect Patients!
Founded in 1932, Xttrium Laboratories has been dedicated to promoting health and well-being through high-quality products. Recognized as a trusted supplier of disinfectants to hospitals and healthcare providers, Xttrium has expanded its offerings to pharmacies nationwide. With over 40 years of expertise in manufacturing FDA-registered healthcare solutions, the company is a leader in ensuring safety and quality in a health-conscious world.
The Packaging Supervisor at the Xttrium Lake Villa facility manages localized packaging, warehousing, inventory flow, and logistics operations. Because Xttrium Laboratories, Inc. utilizes this site as an expansion hub for warehousing, shipping, receiving, and localized finished-goods packaging of antiseptic products, this supervisor role focuses heavily on end-of-line logistics, palletization, and distribution-adjacent packaging rather than primary chemical formulation.
Core Responsibilities:
- Warehouse & Line Oversight: Supervise secondary packaging, material handling, labeling, and palletizing workflows.
- Logistics Coordination: Manage inventory flow and coordinate logistics for incoming components and outgoing pharmaceutical shipments.
- Compliance & Records: Enforce strict adherence to FDA regulations, cGMP guidelines, and accurate completion of batch records.
- Equipment & Safety: Troubleshoot material handling equipment, packaging machinery, and inventory systems while maintaining strict OSHA safety standards.
- Staff Management: Direct, train, and schedule packaging operators and material handlers to maximize plant efficiency.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of supervisory experience in pharmaceutical, food, or heavily regulated consumer packaging.
- Logistics Skills: Proven experience managing packaging lines that interface directly with shipping, inventory systems, and bulk/pallet loading.
- Physical Demands: Ability to navigate a plant floor, wear standard facility PPE, and occasionally move or lift up to 50–75 lbs.
We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. We welcome people of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Employment decisions are made based on skills, qualifications, and potential; never on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected trait.
Expected compensation for this role will be $26 and $33 an hour on a full-time basis plus applicable health and ancillary benefits offered by the company.
