Summary:
The Payment Specialist will work as part of a team to build relationships and provide support for the communities we serve. This position is responsible for processing all vendor payments and performing various administrative tasks related to payment processing. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks with high accuracy. Additionally, the role involves creating reports and other professional materials to support the agency’s goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Eligibility Determination:
   • Assist in determining eligibility for various services based on program guidelines.
2. Data Collection & Management:
   • Collect, manage, and analyze data relevant to payment processing and other financial tasks.
3. Database Management:
   • Maintain and update databases to ensure accurate records of payment transactions.
4. Compiling Financial
   • Compile financial data, ensuring all payments and records are accurately documented and compliant with agency standards.
5. Voucher Processing:
   • Process all vendor vouchers for payment in a timely and accurate manner.
6. Proposal Writing & Professional Writing:
   • Write proposals and other professional documents to support the agency’s work.
7. Reporting & Materials Creation:
   • Create reports, promotional materials, and training materials to assist in the agency’s operations.
8. Public Speaking & Community Development:
   • Represent the agency at community events, participate in public speaking engagements, and support community development efforts.
9. Coordinating Community Resources & Partnerships:
   • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and resources to meet the needs of clients.
10. Other Duties as Assigned:

• Perform other duties as needed to support the agency’s mission.

Education & Experience Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Experience:
  • Previous experience in accounting, database management, and/or project management is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with proposal writing and creating professional materials.
