Workday Senior Certified HCM Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Workday Senior Certified HCM Consultant based in United States .

As a Workday Senior Certified HCM Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering successful Human Capital Management implementations for a diverse portfolio of clients. This position offers the opportunity to lead solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. Working in a fully remote environment, you will advise clients on Workday best practices, mentor fellow consultants, and contribute to innovative implementation strategies. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Workday professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges, building long-term client relationships, and driving impactful digital transformation projects across organizations.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday HCM solutions across multiple functional modules, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements while translating client needs into scalable and effective Workday configurations.
  • Support data conversion activities and collaborate with integration teams to configure and validate integrations with third-party systems.
  • Conduct solution demonstrations, facilitate client workshops, and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to ensure successful user adoption.
  • Mentor junior consultants by sharing technical expertise, providing guidance on best practices, and supporting professional development.
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to monitor project progress, communicate risks, and recommend improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize implementation methodologies, streamline processes, and enhance client outcomes.
  • Maintain current Workday certifications while staying informed of new product releases, features, and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Current Workday Partner HCM or Payroll Certification, plus at least one additional Workday HCM certification (such as Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Learning, Payroll, or Time & Absence).
  • 2–4+ years of hands-on Workday configuration and implementation experience across HCM projects.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
  • Previous consulting experience delivering enterprise software or HR technology implementations.
  • Experience deploying Workday or similar enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, or Ultimate Software.
  • Strong project management, business analysis, and requirements gathering capabilities.
  • Functional knowledge of Human Resources processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing deadlines, and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex business challenges and design scalable solutions.
  • Passion for customer success, continuous learning, and mentoring colleagues.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% based on project requirements.
