Overview
The Principal Program Manager in Technical Program Management is accountable for the complete lifecycle, order-to-cash execution, and measurable business value of Eagleview's enterprise systems modernization program. This permanent, senior matrix-leadership role requires deep program management experience to define the target state, assess the NetSuite-centered environment and potential ERP replacement options, recover and re-baseline in-flight work, lead integrated delivery, and sustain the multi-year modernization roadmap across billing, payments, subscriptions, and related internal and customer-facing business processes.
This role directly leads a cross-functional program spanning Finance, Product & Technology, Operations, Customer Service, Security, Data, Legal/Compliance, and external partners. It does not own the functional teams' headcount or day-to-day production support; it owns the integrated transformation outcome, program economics, governance, execution discipline, adoption, reduced operational gaps, improved revenue realization, and realized value.
This is a full-time, hybrid role role in our Rochester, NY headquarters, with a salary range of $176,500 to $208,400, bonus eligible.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain the enterprise program charter, target operating model, target architecture, multi-year roadmap, integrated master plan, investment case, measurable benefits plan, and exec-utive governance rhythm.
- Lead the current-state assessment of NetSuite, Boomi and other integrations, internal SaaS prod-ucts, customer-facing commercial systems, finance processes, data flows, controls, technical debt, and application portfolio rationalization and decommissioning opportunities.
- Develop and lead the retain-and-modernize versus ERP-replacement recommendation, including options analysis, business case, implementation approach, transition risk, and executive decision materials.
- Assess all in-flight initiatives; validate strategic fit, business value, technical alignment, controls, readiness, and dependencies; then re-baseline, re-sequence, or recommend stopping work as ap-propriate.
- Own the program cost center and manage budget, forecast, resource plan, vendor spend, financial controls, benefits realization, and executive reporting against approved commitments.
- Design the delivery model, including the appropriate blend of internal capability, systems-integrator or implementation-partner support, and specialist vendors; lead sourcing, selection, contracting support, and performance governance.
- Lead integrated planning and execution across ERP, quote-to-cash, billing, payments, subscrip-tions, revenue operations, customer data flows, internal SaaS products, integrations, reporting, migration, testing, release readiness, and stabilization.
- Establish decision rights, stage gates, RAID management, dependency management, quality con-trols, release criteria, and executive steering-committee governance for the transformation portfo-lio.
- Drive business-process standardization, change readiness, stakeholder engagement, training, cut-over, adoption, and operating transition to ensure the organization achieves intended business outcomes.
- Maintain a sustained modernization roadmap after initial implementation, with clear ownership, prioritization, performance measures, technical debt visibility, and continuous-improvement cy-cles.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, information technology, engineering, or related discipline; equivalent depth of relevant experience will be considered.
10+ years leading large-scale, cross-functional business, technology, ERP, or enterprise transfor-mation programs; 5+ years with direct accountability for major ERP or financial-systems moderni-zation.
Proven delivery of complex cross-functional programs where process, technology, and operational improvements are equally critical, from design, integration, migration, deployment, stabilization, and value realization. Experience with AWS or other cloud-based revenue delivery
channels; some exposure and awareness of AI-based value opportunities for revenue or operational efficiency.
Experience evaluating enterprise-platform options, developing investment cases, and leading a re-tain/modernize versus replacement recommendation for an ERP or comparable core business plat-form.
Proven accountability for multi-million-dollar program budgets, forecasts, benefits realization, vendor spend, governance, RAID management, dependency management, executive reporting, and program controls.
Strong working knowledge of finance and accounting processes, end-to-end order-to-cash, billing, payments, subscriptions, revenue operations, commercial data flows, internal controls, data gov-ernance, and business-process transformation.
Experience leading and influencing matrix teams across Finance, Product, Engineering, Enterprise Applications, Operations, Security, Data, and third-party partners without direct authority, using strong intellectual capability, emotional intelligence, and executive-level judgment.
Experience selecting and governing systems integrators, implementation partners, and technology vendors, including scope, performance, commercial, and delivery-risk management.
Exceptional executive communication, structured problem solving, decision-making, conflict reso-lution, and organizational-change leadership skills.
U.S. business-systems transformation experience, with working knowledge of Canadian business operations and cross-border considerations, including entities, currencies, taxes, and reporting needs.
Preferred
- Direct experience with Oracle NetSuite and an iPaaS/integration environment such as Boomi, to-gether with cloud-based enterprise applications and APIs.
- Experience in a product and technology company with customer-facing SaaS, billing, revenue, or service-delivery systems integrated to core financial platforms.
- Experience recovering, re-baselining, or turning around an in-flight transformation program.
