JOB SUMMARY:

Perform the daily processing of payables to include raw material invoices, payment authorizations, and voucher invoices, as well as some account reconciliation and clearing duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Complete daily payables processing for raw materials and Purchase Order (PO) invoices. Work with Purchasing or Logistics to resolve matching discrepancies and enter invoice data into SAP as needed
  2. Review invoices via OCR software to ensure accurate billing information. Work with approver to have new vendors created in a timely fashion. Distribute invoice to Mediusflow AP Automation software for coding and approval.
  3. Collaborate with business partners to process invoices for Test Net Invoices via WinShuttle and rent payments via the reoccurring entry function in SAP.
  4. Prepare vendor master maintenance forms by reviewing vendor information in SAP for all vendors prior to payment. Create or change vendor information and request W-9, W-8 and banking information as necessary.
  5. Prepare daily invoice batch reports for audit. This includes reconciliation of invoices and delivery to auditor.
  6. Perform mail opening and sorting duties.
  7. Perform some monthly processing and reconciliation duties. This includes reconciling and clearing accounts as assigned, as well as reviewing and researching vendor statements
  8. Handle internal and external customer payment inquiries and questions. This includes assisting internal and external customers with the highest level of professionalism and returning calls and emails in a timely manner.
  9. Assist with documentation of daily desktop procedures to include in the accounts payable manual. Prepare documents in Word or Excel that show detailed instructions on how to perform certain daily and monthly tasks.

This role is a temp to hire role with three-to-six-month trial period as an hourly employee before consideration for full-time employment. If hired as a full-time employee after three to six months, you will then be eligible for benefits.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE MINIMUMS:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Experience in accounting or related field, preferably a year or more
    • Good Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

    • College Degree with concentration in Accounting preferred
    • SAP experience is a plus

    Pay Range: $46,000-$60,000

    The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the previously determined minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries; within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job scope, job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training. Please note that the pay range listed in this posting reflects the base salary only and does not include the value of benefits that are provided in addition to the salary for this position.
