This is a strategic, field-based leadership opportunity for an experienced medical and value evidence professional passionate about improving patient access and healthcare outcomes. In this role, you will engage directly with population health decision-makers, payers, systems of care, and healthcare organizations to communicate clinical and economic evidence across multiple therapeutic areas. You will serve as a key scientific and market access advisor, helping stakeholders navigate evolving healthcare landscapes through evidence-based discussions and collaborative partnerships. Working cross-functionally with medical, market access, HEOR, and field teams, you will support launch and pre-launch initiatives while shaping value-based healthcare strategies. The position offers a highly visible role within a dynamic and evolving environment where scientific expertise, strategic thinking, and relationship-building are critical to success. - Build and maintain strategic relationships with population health decision-makers, payers, systems of care, and other priority healthcare accounts.
- Lead scientific and value-based discussions related to clinical data, health economic outcomes, real-world evidence, disease state education, and patient access initiatives.
- Develop and execute strategic engagement plans aligned with launch, pre-launch, and market access objectives across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Identify medically related patient access barriers and collaborate with stakeholders to support improved healthcare outcomes and patient experiences.
- Partner cross-functionally with Market Access, HEOR, Medical Science Liaisons, Regional Medical teams, and other internal stakeholders to support aligned business objectives.
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert on medical value evidence, managed care dynamics, and healthcare market trends.
- Represent the organization at scientific, value evidence, and managed care congresses to maintain expertise and strengthen external engagement.
- Capture and communicate actionable market insights to support strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain strong knowledge of compliance standards, healthcare regulations, and industry ethical guidelines while ensuring all activities align with internal policies.
- Support CRM management, reporting, training, and administrative responsibilities in a timely and organized manner.
- Contribute thought leadership and strategic recommendations related to healthcare access, evidence generation, and value-based care initiatives.
- Graduate degree in science, healthcare, pharmacy, medicine, or a related field required.
- Doctoral degree preferred (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managed care, population health engagement, field medical, or related healthcare roles.
- Strong understanding of US healthcare systems, managed care, patient access, payer dynamics, value-based care, and health economics.
- Experience engaging with payers, systems of care, integrated delivery networks, population health decision-makers, or healthcare organizations.
- Deep knowledge of healthcare compliance standards, FDA regulations, HIPAA, OIG guidance, and pharmaceutical industry ethical practices.
- Proven ability to work effectively within matrix organizations and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage executive and clinical stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions, therapeutic landscapes, and evolving healthcare priorities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
- Ability to travel approximately 50% domestically for customer-facing engagements and business needs.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
