Enterprise Account Manager

This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive enterprise growth by managing and expanding strategic customer relationships within the German market. You will work closely with senior business and IT stakeholders, helping organizations strengthen their data governance, AI readiness, cybersecurity, and database management capabilities. Operating in a highly consultative sales environment, you will lead complex sales cycles, identify new business opportunities, and contribute directly to revenue growth. The position combines strategic account development with strong cross-functional collaboration across technical, marketing, and customer success teams. Accountabilities:
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within both existing enterprise accounts and prospective customers across Germany.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers including CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and other executive stakeholders.
  • Position and sell enterprise solutions related to data governance, AI readiness, cybersecurity, and database management through a consultative sales approach.
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and deal closure.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to maximize pipeline growth and revenue generation.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to deliver customer value and drive successful outcomes.
  • Partner with channel and reseller networks to expand market reach and strengthen customer engagement opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM reporting to support business planning and performance tracking.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience selling complex software or enterprise technology solutions to large organizations.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas and driving new business acquisition.
  • Strong experience managing enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and high-value contracts.
  • Demonstrated success engaging with C-level executives and building long-term strategic relationships.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology domains such as Data, Cloud, Cybersecurity, or AI.
  • Excellent business and technical acumen with the ability to align solutions to customer challenges and objectives.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and commercial teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong territory management, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
  • Fluent German language skills and strong professional communication abilities in English.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30–50% as required for customer engagement.
