Job Description
OVERVIEW
Cadrex is searching for a Quality Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing the quality control operations within our manufacturing facility. Your expertise in quality management systems, process audits, and team leadership will enable you to drive the highest standards of quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. By leading a team of quality inspectors and collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will play a vital role in maintaining and advancing our quality assurance capabilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the quality control operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Manage a team of quality inspectors, providing leadership, guidance, and technical support to ensure accurate and efficient inspections
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and specifications
- Conduct process audits to assess compliance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
- Monitor and analyze quality data, including inspection results, non-conformance reports, and customer feedback, to identify trends and implement preventive measures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality-related issues, conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions
- Provide technical guidance to resolve quality-related concerns, working closely with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams
- Lead supplier quality management initiatives, conducting supplier audits, implementing supplier performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement
- Maintain quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality control records
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, actively seeking opportunities to optimize processes, reduce defects, and enhance overall product quality
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a Quality Supervisor or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO standards and regulatory requirements
- Experience in managing and leading a team of quality inspectors, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements
- Familiarity with quality control tools and methodologies, such as statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment and following established safety protocols

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
