Warehouse and Production Supervisor in Escondido, California at R&R Human Resources Solutions

Action Mail, is a established, family-owned printing, mailing, and fulfillment company based in Escondido, California (San Diego area). We are looking for a Warehouse and Production Supervisor to join our team.

The successful candidate will maintain inventory at our warehouse and manage a small production team. This will include receiving, issuing, and organizing materials and preparing and loading material daily on to trucks for delivery to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Properly organize the warehouse to ensure all material is accessible, countable and identifiable.
• Pull material and load for daily deliveries.
• Review and document inventory counts to ensure accuracy within the warehouse.
• Complete auditable records: packing slips, pick lists and job close out paperwork.
• Fulfill orders, boxing and labeling.
• Use computer software system to issue and receive material
• Supervise a team of 2-4 people
• Set daily production schedules

• 40 hour week 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Requirements:

• Must be able to handle/lift materials weighing up to 50 lb.
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
• Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success
• Ability to motivate and manage a team
• Familiarity with order entry and shipping software

• Ability to drive a 24 ft box truck and must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in operating forklifts, pallet jacks and shrink wrapper machines.
• Must have a forklift certificate.
• Must be able to pass a drug and background check
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
