This role sits at the intersection of healthcare operations, client management, and program execution, driving the success of complex, client-facing programs within the pharmaceutical support services space. You will oversee end-to-end program delivery, ensuring operational excellence, compliance with contractual requirements, and strong alignment with client expectations. Acting as both a people manager and a strategic program owner, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor performance metrics, and continuously improve processes. The position requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external clients, including healthcare and pharmaceutical partners, in a highly regulated environment. You will play a key role in translating strategy into execution while ensuring high-quality service delivery and team performance. In this role, you will manage assigned programs end-to-end, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and established operational standards while leading and supervising program teams. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate workflows, and ensure alignment with contractual obligations, SOPs, and client expectations. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing program execution, staffing, and operational flow across one or multiple client programs
- Supervising, coaching, and developing direct and indirect reports, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Monitoring program performance metrics, SLAs, and KPIs to ensure quality and efficiency targets are met
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring strong communication and relationship management
- Supporting program design, workflow development, and continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with senior leadership
- Preparing and presenting program updates, reports, and performance insights to internal and external stakeholders
- Leading cross-functional coordination during program start-up, execution, and close-out phases
- Managing escalations, resolving complex operational issues, and ensuring timely decision-making
- Participating in audits, client meetings, and regulatory interactions when required
- Driving process improvements and ensuring training materials and operational documentation remain current and effective
This role requires a strong background in program or operations management, ideally within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated service environments. You should be comfortable leading teams, managing client relationships, and driving performance in fast-paced, metrics-driven settings.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (Master’s degree preferred)
- 5–8 years of relevant experience, or 3–5 years with advanced degree
- At least 2 years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated industry environments
- Minimum 1 year of direct people management experience
- Strong experience managing programs, operations, or client-facing service delivery teams
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience interpreting performance data and trends
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution across cross-functional teams
- Experience developing processes, workflows, and program documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong overall business tool literacy
- Client-facing experience with the ability to build trust and manage complex relationships
