Concrete Foreman Lead Civil and Sitework Crews Across the Southeast
Job Overview
Company: Southern Contracting, LLC.
Salary/Pay Rate: $30 $35 per hour + performance bonuses.
Location: Biloxi, MS; Newbern, TN; or Dunkirk, MD (Travel Required).
Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
Schedule: Monday Friday (Occasional overtime required).
Project Scope: Commercial, Civil, and Sitework.
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Drivers License.
The Opportunity You will serve as a pivotal field leader, directing the daily operations of concrete crews on high-stakes civil and commercial projects. This role empowers you to mentor craftsmen and manage complex sitework while working for a company that treats you as a valued partner rather than a number. How You Will Make an Impact
Supervise and lead specialized concrete crews to ensure the highest quality of project delivery.
Coordinate daily jobsite activities and delegate crew assignments to maintain strict project timelines.
Interpret complex blueprints and construction plans to guide precise forming and pouring procedures.
Enforce rigorous company safety standards and OSHA compliance to protect every team member on-site.
Execute daily field reports and documentation to provide full transparency to project stakeholders.
Mentor and train junior crew members to elevate the team's technical proficiency and workmanship.
Resolve real-time logistical and technical obstacles to prevent delays in the construction schedule.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience specifically within concrete construction.
Proven ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings and specifications.
Deep technical understanding of concrete forming, finishing, and curing techniques.
Strong communication skills and the organizational ability to manage field documentation.
Absolute willingness to travel to various project assignments as required by the business.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Demonstrated experience in commercial, civil, or federal sitework projects.
Prior experience conducting formal safety meetings and toolbox talks.
Advanced knowledge of equipment coordination and subcontractor management.
