3rd shift RESIDENTIAL ASSISTANT – Part-time/Seasonal

The GECAC Upward Bound program is looking for a Part-Time/Seasonal 3rd shift Residential Assistant (Safety Staff) to work with our high school scholars at Mercyhurst University for 6 weeks (June 21, 2026, to July 29, 2026)

We have 1 opening for this position, which runs 4 nights a week, Midnight to 8:30 am M-T-W-R. The qualified applicant must have the ability to work with a diverse group of high school-age students and have the ability to enforce all dormitory rules and policies to ensure student safety.

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum High school diploma, clean criminal record. Ability to establish and maintain good rapport with students. Residential life experience a plus. At the time of the interview, follows Child Protective Services Law applies: Prior to hire, must have Act 33 & Act 34, Act 114 FBI fingerprinting, and Act 168 clearances issued within the past 5 years (60 months). Updated clearances must be submitted every 60 months. Must meet the immigration Reform Act requirements.

Salary: $16.71/hour
