In this role, you will serve as a trusted financial resource for members by identifying their needs, recommending products and services, opening accounts, processing loans, and developing new business opportunities. What You'll DoMember Service & Relationship Building- Serve as the primary contact for consumer and business members seeking financial solutions.
- Build meaningful relationships by understanding member needs and providing exceptional service.
- Recommend deposit products, loan solutions, wealth management services, and insurance/protection products that align with members' financial goals.
- Open new memberships and accounts while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and credit union policies.
- Conduct financial needs assessments and loan interviews.
- Recommend appropriate lending and financial solutions based on members' goals and circumstances.
- Process loan applications and ensure all required documentation is obtained and maintained.
- Ensure all lending activities comply with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct outbound calls to members, prospects, and Select Employer Groups (SEGs).
- Participate in community events, networking opportunities, and business development activities.
- Promote MyPoint Credit Union products and services to generate new business and strengthen community relationships.
- Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through referrals and additional services.
- Perform notary services as needed.
- Serve as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Branch Manager.
- Support team initiatives and contribute to overall branch success.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- Schedule member appointments through remote delivery channels.
- Assist with card services, including travel notifications, card activations, and troubleshooting card-related issues.
- Review and approve Remote Deposit Access (RDA) requests.
- Respond to member inquiries through phone, email, and other digital channels.
- Provide support for online and mobile banking services.
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with Regulation CC, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), OFAC, USA Patriot Act, and Customer Identification Program (CIP) requirements.
- Protect the confidentiality of member information at all times.
- Follow all security and fraud prevention procedures.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum one (1) year of financial services, banking, credit union, retail sales, or customer service experience.
- Demonstrated success in relationship building, sales, or business development.
- Experience using technology, mobile applications, and digital platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to identify member needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional member service.
- Current Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) registration or the ability to obtain registration.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and financial services systems.
- Credit union or banking experience.
- Consumer lending experience.
- Notary Public certification.
- Community involvement, networking, or business development experience.
- Passion for helping people achieve financial success.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to proactively identify opportunities and solve problems.

- Comfortable working in a sales and service-focused environment.
