Banco Sabadell is seeking an Efficiency & Organization Analyst candidate to join a dynamic team within one of the fastest growing banks in Florida.
Responsibilities:
• Support the budgeting and planning of expenses such as Opex and Capex for departments across the company.
• Develop and maintain relationships with departmental budget owners to manage Opex budget.
• Analyze Opex monthly to track budget, identify variances/trends, issues, opportunities for efficiency and improvement, and reallocate budget to critical unexpected costs.
• Collaborate effectively with the accounting team to assist in the month end close process, research and resolve discrepancies and inquiries, as well as, request reclasses as needed to align spend vs budget.
• Inform budget owners of monthly spend to understand budget deviations.
• Build and own monthly reporting/presentation to highlight performance versus budget.
• Assist PMO by maintaining reports used to assist in developing, monitoring, interpreting, and presenting the projects financial information.
• Perform ad-hoc projects, financial analyses and presentations for management.
• Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.
• Maintain accurate historical transaction records on assigned budget line items. Additionally, manage invoicing process (i.e. receive, process, and verify invoices, assist with vendor onboarding, answer vendor payment status inquiries, etc.) and monitor work in progress (WIP).
• Proactively bring together appropriate people and resources to support the needs of the America & Asia Representative Offices.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Experience in FP&A, including forecasting/budgeting (Opex and Capex) and basic accounting principles (accruals, capitalization, prepaid expenses, accounts payable, etc.)
• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or related major with 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint (i.e. Excel Pivots, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas and PowerPoint charts, Tables, Formatting, flowcharts, etc.)
• Strong analytical, financial control and reporting skills, and the ability to properly communicate findings clearly to leadership
• Prior experience working with macros and data sets, interest in automation preferred
