Working Hours: 4 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $18.00 for Alumni Teaching Assistants
$15.00 for Current Students
Assist the faculty of the Professional and Continuing Education as needed during class.
Assist enrolled students as they work on the processes being taught. Assist the faculty in ensuring that students adhere to shop rules.
Help faculty keep track of supplies.
Other duties as they arise, related to the success of the course.
Job Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of the process that are being taught and of MassArt's shop tools and facilities. The assistant must be able to move around the studio and the ability to lift 50 pounds; and have a desire and to be helpful to students and faculty.
