Accountabilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between data operations, development, infrastructure, engineering, and management teams to coordinate troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Organize and lead meetings with the appropriate technical and data operations teams, prioritizing and routing reported issues according to business impact.
  • Investigate application and product-related problems using independent judgment and a solutions-focused approach.
  • Document production support procedures and continuously improve processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
  • Maintain and expand the knowledge base of system issues, root causes, and resolutions for future reference, peer knowledge sharing, and training.
  • Support data operations team members in creating incident and change request tickets.
  • Coordinate with engineering, infrastructure, database administration, implementation, and configuration management teams to follow up on outstanding tickets and drive issues toward resolution.
  • Track root cause analyses and confirm that permanent corrective actions have been implemented.
  • Prepare and distribute daily status reports to relevant business stakeholders and leadership.
  • Contribute to special projects, process improvements, and other responsibilities assigned as part of the role.
  • Perform required responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent training or certification.
  • 2–4 years of experience developing or supporting enterprise-level applications in multi-node Windows or Linux Server environments.
  • Strong knowledge of application architectures, workflows, monitoring tools, and enterprise production support practices.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL, MS Access, and database management tools.
  • Proficiency with scripting technologies such as PowerShell, Bash, or VB scripting.
  • Experience with Java EE and/or .NET frameworks.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot application issues effectively and determine when escalation to engineering or other specialized teams is required.
  • Familiarity with commonly used information technology concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; previous Help Desk experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within cross-functional and global teams using online collaboration tools.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple issues and tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate issues when the underlying cause is unclear.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others to exchange technical and operational information and assess the accuracy, completeness, and quality of assigned work.
  • Ability to maintain a dedicated, secure home work area with reliable high-speed internet connectivity and an appropriate office setup.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and perform repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers as required by the role.

Benefits:

  • Base compensation range of $70,000–$92,000, with individual offers determined by experience, education, skills, certifications, and business needs.

  • 17–27 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year, depending on level and length of service.
  • Opportunity to work with global, cross-functional technical and operations teams.
  • Exposure to enterprise applications, data platforms, infrastructure, databases, and production support environments.
  • Opportunities to strengthen technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, project management, and process improvement skills.
