Investor Relations in Australia Fair, Queensland at Jobgether

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Investor Relations professional based in Australia.

This is a front-office opportunity focused on fund placement and the distribution of global private market strategies across Australia.
You will develop and strengthen relationships with institutional, wholesale, private wealth and family office investors.
The role offers exposure to a broad range of alternative investment strategies, including private equity, private credit, infrastructure and real assets.
You will contribute directly to fundraising activity while building a strong understanding of the Australian allocator landscape.
Working across a global network of investment managers and investors, you will support relationship development and commercial opportunities.
The position is well suited to a finance professional looking to deepen their expertise in investor relations and private markets.
You will operate remotely while engaging with sophisticated investors across Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Australian institutional, wholesale, private wealth and family office investors.

• Support fundraising and fund distribution activities for global private market managers across strategies such as private equity, private credit, real assets and infrastructure.

• Engage with superannuation funds, family offices, asset consultants, insurers, wealth platforms, financial advisers and asset managers.

• Contribute to investor outreach, relationship development and ongoing engagement throughout the fundraising process.

• Build a strong understanding of investor requirements, preferences and allocation priorities across the Australian market.

• Support front-office investor relations and fund placement activities, helping connect appropriate investment opportunities with relevant allocators.

• Maintain organised and effective communication with investors and internal stakeholders throughout the relationship lifecycle.

• Stay informed on developments across the Australian investment, private markets and alternative investment landscape.

• Experience in fund distribution, institutional sales, wholesale distribution, investor relations or a related financial services environment.

• Previous experience working with or selling to Australian investors, with an understanding of the local investment and allocator ecosystem.

• Exposure to institutional, wholesale, private wealth or family office clients.

• Genuine interest in private markets and alternative investment strategies, including private equity, private credit, infrastructure or real assets.

• Strong relationship-management skills, with the ability to build credibility and maintain productive long-term investor relationships.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with sophisticated financial stakeholders.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple relationships, priorities and fundraising activities effectively.

• Commercial awareness, attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and developing investor opportunities.
