Area Vice President, Digital and Automation - Central Zone

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Area Vice President, Digital and Automation - Central Zone based in United States.

This is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for driving regional growth and sales strategy across a highly complex healthcare technology portfolio focused on digital and automation solutions. You will lead high-performing sales teams across the Central Zone, ensuring consistent execution of strategic objectives, revenue targets, and customer success outcomes. The role blends operational leadership with deep market engagement, requiring strong expertise in clinical environments and healthcare imaging software. You will act as both a strategic partner and execution driver, aligning cross-functional stakeholders around customer needs and business priorities. A key part of the role involves shaping go-to-market strategy, improving sales effectiveness, and strengthening customer relationships at executive and clinical levels. You will operate in a matrixed global organization where collaboration, influence, and analytical decision-making are essential. This position offers the opportunity to directly impact patient outcomes through the adoption of advanced medical technologies.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop Product Specialist Executives and Enterprise Imaging Sales teams to drive high performance, accountability, and sales excellence
  • Define and implement regional sales strategies, targets, and operating plans aligned with broader business objectives
  • Oversee deal execution, sales processes, tools, and performance management to ensure consistent achievement of revenue and market share goals
  • Partner with Business Lines to build budgets, forecasts, and growth strategies supported by market and customer insights
  • Drive clinical conversion excellence by strengthening team capabilities in solution selling and clinical competency
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and strategic healthcare customers to support long-term business development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, service, R&D, and regional leadership to resolve customer issues and shape go-to-market strategy
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, CRM adoption, pipeline visibility, and win/loss analysis to improve commercial effectiveness
  • Support complex multi-site and strategic deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term value creation

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, operations, or commercial leadership roles within healthcare technology, medical imaging software, or clinical software environments
  • Strong background in leading and scaling high-performance sales teams across multiple territories or functional areas
  • Deep understanding of healthcare imaging ecosystems, clinical workflows, and enterprise software solutions
  • Proven ability to develop and execute data-driven sales strategies aligned with business growth objectives
  • Strong experience working in matrixed organizations with cross-functional collaboration across sales, marketing, product, and service teams
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and talent development skills with a track record of building strong sales cultures
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships with customers and internal leaders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (advanced experience or equivalent background preferred)
