PLM Solution Architect

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a PLM Solution Architect based in the United States.

This role is a senior technical architecture position focused on designing and delivering end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions for global manufacturing enterprises. You will act as a key advisor to clients, translating complex business requirements into scalable Siemens Teamcenter-based architectures. The position spans the full software lifecycle, from presales engagement and solution design to implementation, deployment, and ongoing support. You will work closely with engineering teams and business stakeholders to ensure robust, high-performing PLM environments. This is a highly consultative and hands-on role requiring both deep technical expertise and strong client-facing skills. It offers the opportunity to shape enterprise PLM strategies and deliver impactful digital transformation initiatives at scale.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end PLM solutions using Siemens Teamcenter, ensuring alignment with client requirements and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Engage with customers to gather requirements, define solution scope, and translate business needs into technical PLM architectures.
  • Support presales activities by collaborating with account managers and solution teams to shape technical proposals and solution strategies.
  • Oversee full project lifecycle activities including implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Design and maintain Teamcenter configurations including workflows, access management, queries, classification, and organizational structures.
  • Ensure successful integration of PLM systems with enterprise environments, including Active Workspace and Active Integration Gateway (T4x).
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to delivery teams, including coaching consultants in best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, status updates, and technical deliverables aligned with project governance standards.
  • Conduct technical reviews, capture lessons learned, and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery methodologies.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure solution quality, performance, and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Stay current with PLM industry trends, Siemens Teamcenter advancements, and emerging engineering technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience working with Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Teamcenter architecture, installation, infrastructure, and Active Workspace.
  • Proven experience with Teamcenter Active Integration Gateway (T4x) and complex system integrations.
  • Deep knowledge of Teamcenter data models, product structure management, and change management processes.
  • Experience configuring workflows, access control, classification, queries, and organizational structures within Teamcenter.
  • Familiarity with NX CAD/CAM and product configuration environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong ability to lead client engagements, gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Experience working across the full software lifecycle in enterprise or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring abilities with a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to operate in a player-coach capacity, guiding teams while remaining technically hands-on.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
