Proposal Development Coordinator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Proposal Development Coordinator based in the United States.

This role is a key driver in the development of high-impact, competitive proposals that support public sector and institutional clients.
You will play a central role in coordinating and producing high-quality responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other formal solicitations across diverse industries.
The position combines strategic writing, project coordination, and content development in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
You will collaborate with subject matter experts and technical teams to craft compelling narratives that clearly communicate value and differentiation.
A strong emphasis is placed on clarity, compliance, design quality, and persuasive messaging throughout the proposal lifecycle.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead and coordinate the full proposal development lifecycle, ensuring alignment across teams and timely delivery of compliant, high-quality submissions.
  • Develop and integrate persuasive win themes and messaging strategies into proposal responses to strengthen competitiveness.
  • Facilitate kickoff meetings, progress check-ins, and color team reviews to maintain structure and accountability throughout the proposal process.
  • Write, edit, and refine proposal content from multiple contributors to ensure consistency, clarity, and strong narrative flow.
  • Analyze RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs to extract requirements and build structured proposal response plans aligned with client expectations.
  • Produce polished, visually consistent proposal documents using Microsoft Word and related tools while adhering to branding standards.
  • Manage proposal workflows, documentation, and collaboration processes using enterprise tools such as Salesforce and MS Teams.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in proposal development, technical writing, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience responding to RFPs, RFIs, or government/public sector solicitations in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical or business content into compelling narratives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with CRM or workflow tools such as Salesforce and collaboration platforms like MS Teams preferred.
  • Solid understanding of public sector procurement processes and proposal compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize tasks, and perform effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
