Description
Responsible for performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections, related to semiconductor components and products andaccompanying documentation.Determines acceptability of, identifies, and recommends disposition of defective items in accordance with established procedures.
Responsibilities
- Receive material and documentation for inspection.
- Conduct visual inspections of materials and documentation.
- Select, inspect, and manage qualification samples for reliability testing from processed lots.
- Review and inspect material and dispositions of non-conforming material according to established criteria.
- Track internal and external Corrective Actions and Non-conformances for on time execution.
- Maintain and update internal quality specifications as required.
- Perform lot review for compliance and issue certificate of conformances according to established criteria.
- Select, inspect, and manage qualification samples for reliability testing from processed lots.
- Review and inspect material and dispositions non-conforming material.
- Perform random inspections, audits, and reviews of receiving & shipping processes.
- Perform incoming inspection of materials to detail drawings.
- Support Continuous Improvement and department 6S activities.
- Perform lot review for compliance and issues certificate of conformances.
- Create attributes summary for screening and qualification testing.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing and distribution activities.
- Verify compliance with the traceability process for orders issued by DLA (Defense Logistics Agency).
- Perform customer contract review for quality compliance.
- Conduct periodic verification of ESD system and materials.
- Perform or assist with internal audits as required.
- Create non-conformance reports as needed.
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering, or similar technical discipline
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a Quality role performing compliance and inspections in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, Quality System Standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge AS9100/AS9120, Aerospace Quality System Standard or IATF 16949-2016, Automotive Quality Management preferred
- ASQC Certification is a plus
- Working knowledge of the DSCC QML program is a plus
- Ability to multitask and meets deadlines in a timely manner.
