Senior Program Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Program Analyst based in the United States.

This is a senior-level analytical role supporting federal mission-critical programs and Government leadership.
You’ll lead program analysis, assessment, reporting, and process-improvement initiatives across a complex acquisition support environment.
The role combines strategic analysis with hands-on execution, turning operational data and findings into clear recommendations.
You’ll develop executive-ready metrics, status reports, briefing materials, SOPs, and best practices that strengthen program performance.
As a senior analytical resource, you’ll collaborate across acquisition, financial, grants, compliance, and program-management functions.
You’ll also mentor other analysts and help maintain high standards for quality, policy compliance, and audit readiness.
This remote opportunity is well suited to an experienced professional who enjoys solving complex problems and influencing outcomes in a federal environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead program analysis and assessment activities across the acquisition support portfolio, synthesizing complex findings and translating them into actionable insights for Government leadership.
  • Develop executive-level status reports, performance metrics, dashboards, and briefing materials that clearly communicate program health, progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Lead process-improvement and efficiency initiatives designed to strengthen operational performance, including the creation and refinement of SOPs, workflows, and best practices.
  • Serve as a senior analytical point of contact across acquisition, financial, grants, and broader program-support functions.
  • Support policy, compliance, and audit-readiness activities by providing analytical expertise, documentation, and performance insights.
  • Represent the program support team in meetings with Government leadership and communicate analytical findings, recommendations, and program updates as assigned.
  • Mentor mid-level and junior program analysts, provide guidance on analytical approaches, and conduct quality reviews of their deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting processes, operational efficiency, and decision-making across the program.
  • Collaborate with Government and contractor stakeholders to understand priorities, resolve analytical challenges, and support mission objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 7–10 years of relevant program analysis or program/business support experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience leading program analysis, assessment, or business-support initiatives for Government stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and presenting executive-level reports, metrics, briefings, and recommendations to senior Government leadership.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or providing quality oversight to analyst-level professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to synthesize complex information into concise, actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a structured Government environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust determination.
  • U.S. citizenship is required to support this federal contract.
  • Experience supporting the Department of the Interior, Interior Business Center, or another civilian shared-services program office is preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI or comparable data-visualization and dashboard platforms is preferred.
  • PMP or a similar program/project management credential is preferred.
Benefits:
  • Work arrangement: Fully remote position within the United States.
  • Employment: Full-time position within a program management office environment.
  • Healthcare: 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Insurance: Employer-provided life and disability insurance.
  • Paid time off: PTO program supporting work-life balance and personal needs.
  • Professional growth: Opportunities to expand program-analysis expertise while supporting mission-focused federal customers.
  • Collaborative environment: Work alongside experienced professionals in a mission-driven setting where analytical expertise directly contributes to program outcomes.
  • Compensation: Competitive compensation based on the role, qualifications, and experience.
