Clinic Manager in Odessa, Texas at Medical Center Hospital

Position Summary:

Assists the Divisional Director with the responsibility and accountability for the management of the department. Emphasis on independent decision making related to the clinical process. Demonstrates the ability to provide consistent direction for all nursing/clinical personnel in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating nursing/clinical activities.

Education:

Hold a current Texas permit or license in a related Healthcare discipline (Nursing, Radiology, etc.) Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field preferred, but not necessary.

Training and Experience:

BLS and PALS through the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire.

Eighteen months full time status preferred (if less than 18 months, administrative approval required).

Unusual Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

1. Extensive sitting with periodic standing and walking.

2. Possible exposure to patients with infectious diseases.

3. Ability to maintain a pleasant, even temperament while working

under pressure and heavy workloads.

4. Must have the ability to conduct business in person and on the

telephone.
