Job Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution and completion of various projects within the company. This position will report to the Installation and Special Projects Manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Leads project teams to ensure satisfactory completion of tasks to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- With input from executive management and outside parties, defines the project's scope, goals, deliverables, tasks, and required resources; ensures projects are well defined before placing out for bid; participates in vendor selection.
- Selects members for project team; leads cross-functional teams and manages relationships with outside service providers.
- Manages project progress and adapts timeline as required; monitors for “scope creep.”
- Keeps stakeholders engaged and informed of pending action items and approaching deadlines.
- Identifies and suggests opportunities to optimize and improve existing processes.
- Anticipates problems that may arise throughout the project and takes appropriate action to mitigate risk. When issues arise during a project, works to find viable solutions to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
- Upon completion of a project, evaluates the project’s efficiency and effectiveness; uses data to guide future decision-making.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities:

- Capacity to handle high stress situations and resolve conflicts.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field required.
- Five years of relevant experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to accurately exchange information with co-workers, management, customers, and vendors.
- Occasionally moves files and boxes of records weighing up to 20 lbs.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery, such as copiers, printers, and telephones.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 90% of the time.
