Accountabilities:

  • Promote and facilitate fixed and fixed indexed annuity sales, helping financial professionals identify appropriate opportunities and integrate solutions into their practices.

  • Maintain awareness of applicable SEC, FINRA, DOL, insurance, and other regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to annuity distribution.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of customer service, communication, and follow-through.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent combined with significant relevant practical experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Active Life & Health Insurance license is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in brokerage new business or within a life insurance company, plus 3+ years of relevant financial services industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in annuity sales, insurance distribution, financial services, advisor support, or a closely related field.
  • Strong understanding of fixed and fixed indexed annuities and the ability to explain complex product concepts clearly to financial professionals.
  • Working knowledge of SEC, FINRA, DOL, insurance, supervision, and due-diligence requirements.
  • Strong business development, relationship-management, consultative selling, and customer-service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including intermediate-level business writing capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, internet-based tools, and carrier/vendor websites, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
  • Series 6 and 63 or Series 7 licenses are preferred.
  • A proactive, adaptable, client-focused approach with the ability to build trust and maintain productive relationships over time.
Benefits
  • Compensation: $50,000–$150,000 in expected first-year earnings through a draw plus uncapped commission-based compensation structure.
  • Significant earning potential tied to sales performance and business development.
