This role is designed for a governance leader who can build secure, scalable, and consistent approaches to client data access management.
You will own the strategy and operational execution of permissions frameworks that protect sensitive information and strengthen organizational trust.
The position combines data governance, privacy operations, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration across technology and business teams.
You will create clear access models, improve audit readiness, and establish processes that enable secure growth.

- Own the client data permissions and privacy governance framework, serving as the primary business leader responsible for access management principles, policies, and decision-making processes.
- Define and evolve role-based access models, ensuring permissions align with business needs, security requirements, and privacy standards.
- Design and manage workflows for access provisioning, deprovisioning, temporary permissions, employee transitions, and confidential data handling.
- Serve as the central coordinator for complex access requests, ensuring consistent decision-making and clear policy guidance across the organization.
- Establish audit processes, monitoring practices, reporting frameworks, and controls to identify risks and prevent inappropriate data access.
- Partner with Product and Technology teams to standardize permissions models across platforms, systems, and applications.
- Develop training materials, documentation, FAQs, and guidance to help employees understand and follow data access policies.
- Drive improvements that reduce unnecessary access, minimize manual exceptions, and strengthen compliance readiness.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Operations, Security, and business stakeholders to ensure effective governance practices.
- Provide executive-ready updates and insights related to privacy risks, access management, and governance initiatives.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with role-based access controls, data privacy principles, access management practices, and governance frameworks in regulated or highly controlled environments.
- Ability to translate business requirements, risk considerations, and policy objectives into clear access rules and decision criteria.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate complex permission scenarios, evaluate risks, and recommend practical solutions.
- Proven project management and process design experience, including the ability to organize ambiguous initiatives and drive cross-functional execution.
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and experience handling confidential client and employee information.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create policies, documentation, FAQs, and leadership communications.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills across Product, Technology, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and business teams.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities, escalations, and improvement initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and workflow or reporting tools.
- Experience with data governance, privacy operations, risk management, compliance, or financial services is preferred.
- Experience supporting system access design, audit processes, remediation efforts, or enterprise transformation initiatives is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM, portfolio management, or client data platforms within wealth management environments is advantageous.
