Role Summary

The Field Marketing Specialist is an on-site marketing generalist who keeps marketing running at store level and in the field — coordination, organic social, signage and in-store execution, and local store marketing. Reports to the VP, Marketing; executes on the ground while Creative, CRM and paid own their lanes.


This is a highly visible role that requires a hands-on, detail-oriented person who is a self-starter and takes initiative while supporting the organization’s growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, brings strong technical marketing knowledge, and has a passion for supporting field leaders while driving results.


Responsibilities


The essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Drive local store marketing and grassroots activation that lifts store traffic. (~50%)
    Fundraisers with schools, teams, and nonprofits; affinity partner recruiting and enrollment; business partnerships, apartments, hotels, and community events; measured through promo codes and store-level lift.
  • Own store-level marketing execution across signage, merchandising, and promotions. (~25%)
    Coordinate signage from order through install; manage promo swaps, new-store and refresh rollouts, POS screen content, digital menus / readerboards, in-store merchandising, and store audits to ensure campaigns are live and accurate.
  • Manage organic social and community content execution. (~15%)
    Maintain the content calendar, publish on-brand assets from Creative, capture store-level photo / video content, and support community engagement and comments.
  • Coordinate field marketing requests and cross-functional follow-through. (~10%)
    Serve as the marketing intake point for district managers, translate field needs into action, and coordinate with Creative, CRM, paid media, Ops, IT, vendors, and webstore partners.

  • Skills & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
  • 1-3 years of progressive field marketing experience
  • Experience in a multi-site, high-growth, or PE-backed environment strongly preferred
  • Generalist range & organization — owns many small things without dropping details.
  • Field partnership — builds trust with district and site managers; translates needs into action and prioritizes well.
  • Coordination — keeps Creative, CRM, paid, Ops, IT and vendors moving in step.
  • Social publishing & local marketing sense — on-brand posting; knows what drives store traffic and goodwill.
  • Signage & merchandising eye; leverages AI tools where appropriate to move faster.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization

  • Tools & Metrics


  • Tools & systems: organic social schedulers, DRB Patheon and Sonny’s POS screen content, Watchfire/Denys digital menus, Yext / listings (view), branded-materials webstore, promo-code tracking, Canva, project tracker.
  • Success metrics: DM request turnaround and prioritization, signage and menu accuracy, posting cadence, promo rollout accuracy, fundraisers and activations run, affinity partner and enrollment growth, code-tracked store-level lift.
  • Logistics: Some travel to nearby locations for audits and activations.
