Job Description

Position title: Regional Senior Finance Manager, CWARO

Location: Global, Benin | (Remote)
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Master’s degree or CPA a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ progressive accounting experience in the non-profit sector with at least 2 years’ experience in management role.
  • Work experience with ERP systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated familiarity with GAAP and proven general knowledge of Fund Accounting
  • Knowledge of U.S. Government and major non-USG donors funding regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to present complex financial information in a succinct and compelling manner.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent relationship management skills with ability to negotiate, influence and get buy-in from people not under direct supervision.
  • Ability to leverage a highly analytical, problem solving and results orientated mindset. Strong organization skills.
  • Flexible work attitude: the ability to work productively in a team environment & independently and ability to meet unexpected demands.
  • Strong Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, various accounting software, and email/internet software,
  • Preferred location within close time zone of the CWARO region and in CRS office locations. Flexibility to adjust work hours to support regional & HQ needs.
