**Position Type:*
* Full-Time Veterinarian
**Schedule:*
* Monday through Friday, daytime hours
## About Us
All About Town Pet House Calls is a growing, privately owned veterinary practice offering a unique hybrid model of care. We provide both comprehensive in-home veterinary services and traditional brick-and-mortar care from our Lantana office.
Our goal is to deliver one of the most complete in-home veterinary experiences available, while still having the support of a fully equipped clinic for diagnostics, procedures, surgery, dentistry, imaging, and hospitalized outpatient care.
We are looking for a compassionate, skilled, and dependable full-time veterinarian to join our team as we continue to grow.
## Position Overview
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded small animal veterinarian who enjoys client communication, high-quality medicine, and a varied caseload. This position will include a combination of house call appointments and in-office appointments, with the opportunity to participate in surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and ongoing case management.
This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing medicine in a more personal, relationship-based environment while still having access to the tools and support of a modern veterinary facility.
## Responsibilities
The full-time veterinarian will be responsible for:
* Performing wellness exams, sick visits, rechecks, and geriatric consultations
* Providing in-home veterinary care for dogs and cats
* Seeing in-office appointments as needed
* Creating diagnostic and treatment plans tailored to each patient
* Communicating clearly and compassionately with pet owners
* Performing or assisting with surgical and dental procedures, depending on experience and interest
* Interpreting laboratory results, radiographs, ultrasound findings, and other diagnostics
* Maintaining complete and accurate medical records
* Working collaboratively with technicians, client service representatives, and practice leadership
* Helping support a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture
* Participating in the continued growth and refinement of our hybrid veterinary care model
## Our Facility and Equipment
Our practice is equipped to provide a high level of medical care, including:
* Digital radiology
* Dental radiology
* Ultrasound
* In-house IDEXX laboratory equipment
* Anesthesia monitoring
* Surgery and dentistry
* radiosurgery
* Therapeutic laser
* Cloud-based medical records
* Mobile house calls
## Qualifications
Applicants should have:
* DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
* Active Florida veterinary license, or ability to obtain one
* Strong medical, diagnostic, and communication skills
* Comfort working with dogs and cats
* Ability to work independently during house calls while also functioning well within a team
* Professional, compassionate bedside manner
* Strong interest in client education and relationship-based care
* DEA license preferred
* Surgical and dental experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate
## Ideal Candidate
The ideal veterinarian for this position is someone who:
* Enjoys both medical workups and client relationships
* Communicates clearly and patiently with pet owners
* Values practical, high-quality medicine
* Is comfortable with a mix of house calls and clinic-based care
* Works well with technicians and support staff
* Is reliable, organized, and emotionally intelligent
* Wants to be part of a growing privately owned veterinary organization
## Compensation and Benefits
Compensation will be competitive and based on experience.
Benefits may include:
* Competitive salary
* Paid time off
* Continuing education allowance
* 401(k) eligibility
* Supportive technical staff
* Daytime weekday schedule
* No overnight emergency hours
* Opportunity to grow with an expanding privately owned practice
* Buyout potential
## Why Join All About Town Pet House Calls?
This is not a typical clinic-only position. Our hybrid model allows veterinarians to build deeper client relationships through in-home care while still having access to a physical facility, diagnostics, equipment, and a supportive team.
For the right veterinarian, this role offers the best of both worlds: personal, relationship-driven house call medicine and the resources of a growing modern veterinary practice.
## How to Apply
Interested candidates should submit a resume and brief cover letter for consideration.
