Job Description
G.A. Johnson Construction, a well established Construction Management and Design Build company is seeking an EXPERIENCED Accountant. Successful candidate must have 5 years history of successful performance in a similar position.

We are a professional building service company providing Design/Build, Construction Management, and General Contracting around South Dakota and the upper Midwest.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable
- Account Receivable
- Payroll
- Monthly Financial Statements
- Assist in year end annual audits
Requirements
- Experience in accounting, financial reporting, payroll processing, and benefit administration
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and applications
- Experience and knowledge of payroll principles and applications, tax reporting requirements
- Ability to organize and communicate effectively (both verbal and written)
Preferred Qualifications
Five(5) or more years of accounting, financial reporting, payroll processing, and benefit administration
Experience with Sage accounting software a plus
Working Experience with MS Office, Excel, Word
Excellent written or oral skills
