This role is focused on building and evolving scalable backend systems that power critical digital products within a fast-paced, transformation-driven environment. You will work on designing, developing, and maintaining robust APIs and services using Node.js and Python, contributing directly to the evolution of modern, high-performance platforms. • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and Python.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems to support scalable digital platforms.
• Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and deliver backend features.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous process and delivery improvements.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Support system performance, debugging, and optimization across distributed environments.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and delivery quality.

• Strong experience as a Backend Developer using Node.js and/or Python in production environments.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration patterns.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, including testing and clean code principles.
• Experience working in agile and collaborative development environments.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization concepts (OAuth2, JWT) is a plus.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures, messaging systems, or cloud-native tools is a plus.
• Exposure to containerization or Kubernetes is considered an advantage.
• Experience with frontend frameworks (React or Next.js) or other languages is a plus.
• Interest in or experience using generative AI tools for software development is highly valued.
