Job Description
Join Easton Electronics, a trusted fire protection service company serving New England for over 40 years. We are looking for an experienced, organized, and customer-focused Fire Extinguisher Service Manager to lead and grow our fire extinguisher service division.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong fire extinguisher service experience who is ready to take on a leadership role. The right person will oversee technicians, support daily field operations, oversee maintenance and operation of the shop and equipment, ensure code-compliant service, maintain high documentation standards, and help deliver the exceptional customer service Easton Electronics is known for.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage, train, support, and hold accountable fire extinguisher service technicians performing inspections, maintenance, recharging, repairs, replacements, and installations.
2. Oversee daily field operations, scheduling priorities, route efficiency, service completion, and workload distribution.
3. Assist with the servicing, inspection, recharging and testing of extinguishers as needed.
4. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with NFPA 10, applicable codes, AHJ requirements, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
5. Review service reports, inspection documentation, deficiency notes, and customer records for accuracy and completeness.
6. Provide technical support to technicians and assist with troubleshooting, field questions, and customer concerns.
7. Maintain strong customer communication and help resolve escalated service issues in a professional and timely manner.
8. Monitor technician productivity, quality of work, vehicle inventory, documentation, and overall performance.
9. Coordinate with dispatch, service operations, billing, sales, and office staff to ensure a smooth customer experience from scheduling through completion.
10. Assist with quoting, follow-up, and recommendations for repairs, replacements, deficiencies, and additional services.
11. Help manage the shop, inventory, equipment, parts, tags, seals, extinguishers, and service supplies to support efficient field operations.
12. Promote a safety-first culture and ensure technicians follow proper procedures, documentation practices, and company policies.
13. Participate in meetings, planning, process improvements, and operational initiatives as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience servicing, inspecting, maintaining, recharging, and repairing portable fire extinguishers.
2. Strong working knowledge of NFPA 10 and applicable fire extinguisher service requirements.
3. Prior leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
4. Ability to train, coach, and support technicians while maintaining accountability and high service standards.
5. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
6. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on details.
7. Comfortable using computers, mobile service software, email, and documentation systems.
8. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
9. Fire extinguisher Certificate of Competency.
10. Experience in the fire protection, life safety, facilities maintenance, or service industry is strongly preferred.

Full-time position. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, with flexibility as needed based on operational needs, customer requirements, and field support.
