Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION: The guest room attendant’s role is to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and support the housepersons in keeping the hotel clean and tidy overall.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Clean guest rooms to required standards.
• Ensure a high level of guest service to all guests at all times.
• Sanitize all hard surfaces.
• Report any maintenance deficiencies.
• Work in a health and safety conscious manner.
• Vacuum, make beds, dust hard surfaces, clean kitchens, living rooms, balconies, bathrooms, bedrooms, fireplaces and any other areas of the guest rooms.
• Maintain carts in an organized fashion.
• Act as Houseperson when required: clean common areas including washrooms, lobbies and pool decks; attend to guest calls; receive and stock laundry and amenity deliveries.
