Senior Account Executive

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Account Executive based in United States.

This is a high-impact enterprise education sales role focused on expanding access to purpose-driven curriculum across K-12 school districts nationwide.
You will own a defined territory and drive new business and expansion within complex, multi-stakeholder district environments.
The role centers on building meaningful relationships with educators, administrators, and district decision-makers to bring whole-child learning solutions into schools.
You will manage full-cycle sales processes, from strategic prospecting through contract execution and district onboarding support.
A strong emphasis is placed on consultative selling, territory ownership, and navigating long, multi-layered education procurement cycles.
This is a mission-driven role where commercial execution directly contributes to student development, belonging, and long-term educational outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and grow a defined territory by identifying, securing, and expanding K-12 school and district partnerships
  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans, including segmentation, prioritization, and structured outreach across districts
  • Manage full-cycle sales processes from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and closing multi-stakeholder deals
  • Conduct regular conversations with educators and district leaders to understand needs and position curriculum solutions effectively
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with superintendents, curriculum directors, and school administrators
  • Collaborate with business development teams to engage interested districts and accelerate pipeline conversion
  • Guide schools through complex purchasing processes, including budgeting, procurement, and internal approvals
  • Support onboarding coordination, including trainings, implementation planning, and administrative setup for new partners
  • Act as a trusted advisor to districts, helping them align educational goals with purpose-driven learning solutions
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects to remove barriers and advance opportunities through the pipeline

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of quota-carrying enterprise sales experience with a proven track record of consistent quota attainment or overachievement
  • Strong experience selling education-related solutions, curriculum, or software supporting K-12 systems (e.g., SEL, MTSS, college & career readiness, or behavior support tools)
  • Deep understanding of K-12 district structures, procurement processes, and multi-stakeholder decision-making environments
  • Proven ability to build and manage a territory independently, including segmentation, prioritization, and pipeline development
  • Strong experience navigating complex, long-cycle sales involving multiple stakeholders such as district leaders and school boards
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence educators and administrators
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a large pipeline across multiple concurrent opportunities
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills to articulate value in a mission-driven and persuasive way
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, or Gong is a plus
  • Passion for education equity and purpose-driven learning aligned with student development outcomes

Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary with performance-based commission structure
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Retirement savings plan
  • Flexible paid time off and paid holidays
  • Monthly and office-related stipends depending on role setup
  • Opportunity to work in a mission-driven organization focused on educational equity and student success
  • Strong culture of inclusion, belonging, and purpose-driven collaboration
  • Exposure to innovative curriculum solutions used across diverse school environments nationwide
  • Autonomy to own and grow a strategic sales territory with high impact
