This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Technical Consultant – Enterprise Networking based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of advanced networking engineering and client-facing consulting, supporting large-scale enterprise and service provider environments.
You will design and implement high-performance, carrier-grade IP networks using modern routing and switching technologies.
The position involves deep engagement with complex architectures spanning BGP, MPLS, EVPN, and IS-IS/OSPF.
You will contribute directly to network transformation programs, migrations, and service deployments.
The environment is highly technical, fast-paced, and focused on solving large-scale connectivity challenges.
You will collaborate closely with stakeholders through design workshops, architecture reviews, and delivery execution.
This is a hands-on consulting role combining engineering depth with strategic project delivery ownership.

Accountabilities:
  • Design and engineer enterprise and service provider network architectures using protocols such as BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, and EVPN, ensuring scalability, performance, and resiliency.
  • Support and deliver MPLS L2/L3 VPN services, VPLS/EVPN solutions, and carrier-grade transport infrastructures across complex environments.
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot core and edge routing platforms, including transit and peering infrastructures in high-scale BGP environments.
  • Lead network upgrades, migrations, cutovers, and new service turn-ups, including rollback planning and change management execution.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of routing, performance, and stability issues using packet analysis and protocol debugging techniques.
  • Implement routing security controls such as prefix filtering, RPKI validation, Max-Prefix limits, and CoPP policies.
  • Participate in client-facing discovery sessions, design workshops, and architecture reviews to define technical requirements and solutions.
  • Develop HLDs, LLDs, network diagrams, implementation runbooks, and as-built documentation.
  • Create migration strategies, cutover plans, and knowledge transfer sessions for client teams.
  • Manage project workstreams, track deliverables, and proactively escalate risks to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 7–10+ years of experience in service provider, ISP, carrier, or large-scale enterprise networking environments.
  • Expert-level knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS (LDP, RSVP-TE, SR), and EVPN technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Cisco IOS-XR/ASR, Juniper Junos/MX, Nokia SR OS, or Arista.
  • Strong expertise in network troubleshooting, packet capture analysis, and protocol-level debugging.
  • Solid understanding of QoS frameworks including DiffServ and HQoS, as well as traffic engineering principles.
  • Experience working in consulting, professional services, or managed services environments with client-facing delivery responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to scope engagements, contribute to SOWs, and manage project timelines and deliverables.
  • Excellent communication skills, with strong technical writing and documentation capability.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNP/CCIE Service Provider, JNCIP/JNCIE-SP, or Arista ACE are highly valued.
  • Familiarity with DWDM or optical networking is considered a plus.
Benefits:
  • Competitive On-Target Earnings (OTE) ranging from $170,000 – $200,000 annually, based on experience and location.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan.
  • Paid company holidays and generous paid time off.
  • Paid parental and caregiver leave programs.
  • Ongoing learning and development opportunities, including certification sponsorships.
  • Access to advanced lab environments and modern networking technologies.
  • Inclusive workplace initiatives and employee resource groups supporting diversity and belonging.
