This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Developer – RPA (Senior Developer – Python Heavy) based in India.
This role sits within a fast-evolving Intelligent Automation environment where engineering meets large-scale business transformation. You will design and deliver automation solutions that streamline enterprise workflows and improve operational efficiency across global teams. The position involves working on end-to-end solution development, from architecture and integration to deployment and support. You will leverage RPA platforms, Power Platform tools, and backend development expertise to build scalable automation systems. The role offers strong exposure to cloud ecosystems, APIs, and enterprise-grade applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, QA, and operations in a highly agile setup. It is an opportunity to take ownership of impactful automation initiatives that drive measurable business value.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying intelligent automation solutions across enterprise systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with architectural best practices. You will lead or contribute to development pods, guiding solution design decisions and supporting escalation management where needed.
- Design and develop RPA and automation solutions using modern frameworks and best practices within an Intelligent Automation CoE environment
- Develop and maintain integrations between systems using APIs, .NET-based services, and automation workflows
- Build and enhance Power Platform solutions including Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) and Power Automate workflows
- Support full software development lifecycle activities including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
- Work with UiPath and related automation tools to implement enterprise-grade RPA solutions
- Collaborate with global teams across engineering, QA, and operations to ensure successful delivery and production stability
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, version control practices, and release management activities
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical workshops
- Mentor junior developers and support continuous improvement of engineering standards and automation practices
The ideal candidate brings strong software engineering experience combined with hands-on expertise in automation platforms and cloud-integrated solutions. You should be comfortable working in complex, distributed environments and translating business needs into scalable technical designs.
- 7–10 years of experience in software development with strong expertise in .NET, APIs, and database design
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents)
- Strong experience in designing and developing RPA solutions and automation workflows
- Solid understanding of Azure services and integration with Power Platform components (Logic Apps, Functions, and related services)
- Experience with Dataverse and model-driven application development
- Exposure to Python for automation scripting and backend support is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative delivery environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor or guide junior engineers
