About the Role
Outpace is hiring Product / Vertical Marketing Leads to own positioning, messaging, sales enablement, launch narrative, competitive differentiation, and proof assets for our major business branches and verticals.
This role makes sure each branch has a clear market story and that SDRs, AEs, Sales Engineers, delivery teams, and leadership are selling from the same playbook.
As the business scales, this role will become a dedicated owner for each major vertical or branch, including areas such as ERP, CRM/Salesforce, Notion, PMO/Advisory, Communications, and future service lines.
What You’ll Do- Own vertical positioning and messaging for your assigned branch or service line.
- Define ICPs, buyer personas, pain points, buying triggers, objections, and value propositions.
- Create and maintain sales collateral, including pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, objection handling, discovery guides, email messaging, and proposal language.
- Partner with Sales Engineers and Delivery to translate real implementation capability into market-facing offers.
- Partner with Content and Customer Proof teams to create case studies, customer stories, proof points, before-and-after narratives, and ROI examples.
- Support launches for new offers, branches, partner plays, acquisitions, and vertical campaigns.
- Run win/loss and field feedback loops with SDRs, AEs, Sales Engineers, RevOps, and delivery teams.
- Maintain competitive intelligence and ensure sales teams understand how to win against relevant alternatives.
- Ensure website, landing page, and campaign messaging is accurate for your assigned vertical.
- Experience in B2B product marketing, vertical marketing, solutions marketing, or sales enablement.
- Strong writing, positioning, and commercial storytelling ability.
- Comfort working with technical or services offerings and translating complexity into simple buyer language.
- Ability to partner tightly with Sales, Delivery, RevOps, and Growth.
- Strong judgment around what sales teams need to create pipeline, advance deals, and win trust with buyers.
- Experience in ERP, CRM/Salesforce, Notion, PMO/advisory, digital transformation, SaaS, or professional services.
- Experience building sales collateral from scratch in a fast-scaling company.
- Comfort using AI tools for research, persona development, content creation, messaging, and collateral production.
- Sales teams actively adopt and use your collateral.
- SDR and AE conversion rates improve in your assigned vertical.
- New SDRs, AEs, and Sales Engineers ramp faster.
- Branch launches are supported by clear, high-quality GTM assets.
- Strong proof assets, case studies, battlecards, and vertical narratives are created and maintained.
- Win rates improve and deal friction is reduced in priority segments.
In your first 90 days, you will:
- Map the current branch narrative, ICP, offers, proof gaps, and sales enablement gaps.
- Create the first complete vertical messaging kit.
- Build the core sales collateral library for your assigned branch.
- Interview Sales, Delivery, existing customers, and leadership to extract proof and differentiation.
- Create the first branch-specific campaign messaging pack with Growth and Marketing Ops.
