Scope of Position

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of software projects, ensuring successful outcomes for both Titan DMS and its customers. The role partners with business and technical stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and execute projects, managing scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will possess strong project management expertise, a sound understanding of software development methodologies, and the ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve delivery objectives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Lead projects through the full project lifecycle, from initiation to deployment and post-release support.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, release schedules.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure delivery commitments are achieved.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, dependencies, issues, and technical challenges.
  • Drive issue resolution and escalation management to maintain project momentum.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present project status reports and delivery metrics to stakeholders.

Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Work closely with clients, business teams, Product Managers, and Business Analysts to understand, clarify, and manage project requirements.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through proactive communication, regular reporting, and transparent project governance.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients & external vendors and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Coordination

  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Development Managers, and Development teams to ensure project requirements are understood and translated into deliverable solutions.
  • Facilitate alignment between business requirements, technical constraints, and delivery plans.
  • Support project estimation, release planning, and technical risk assessment activities.
  • Coordinate deployment readiness activities and support successful project releases.

Process Improvement

  • Promote Agile/Scrum best practices and continuous improvement within project teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and accountability.
  • Support Development Managers & Development Team Leads with resource planning, team coordination, and performance evaluation activities. Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, release management practices, and team efficiency.

People Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships across Product, Engineering, Customer Support, Distributors, and Client teams to ensure alignment on priorities, delivery commitments, and customer outcomes.
  • Influence and coordinate cross-functional teams. Fostering accountability, ownership, and effective collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing software development or technology projects.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing processes, deployment, and change management.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong risk management, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and work effectively with software development teams.
  • Experience managing client relationships and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a software product, cloud-based platform, or enterprise application environment.
  • Experience delivering client-facing implementation or customization projects.
  • Familiarity with automotive retail, dealership management systems, ERP, CRM, or related business domains.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certifications is a plus.
