About the Role:
The Cleaning Tech plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a professional cleaning or janitorial role.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and proper chemical handling procedures.
- Certification in cleaning or sanitation practices.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends, if required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces in assigned areas.
- Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs and maintain health standards.
- Dispose of trash and recycling materials in accordance with facility policies and environmental regulations.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently, reporting any malfunctions or supply shortages.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly and on time.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or security concerns observed during cleaning duties to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve cleaning processes and address client-specific requirements.
