About the Role
The Service Coordinator (Dispatcher) at Tech24 ensures efficient daily operations by scheduling and dispatching service technicians, prioritizing reactive service calls, and coordinating return visits. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You’ll serve as a key point of contact between technicians, customers, and internal teams—providing clear updates, maintaining accurate records, and supporting timesheet and invoice review to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 2 years of experience in customer service, dispatching, project management, or a related field Proficient computer and data entry skillsHighly organized and detail-orientedKnowledge of service areas and route optimization skillsAdvanced customer service skillsStrong multitasking ability
Desired Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of the HVAC industryAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch service technicians to assigned service callsSchedule and coordinate daily service appointmentsMaintain dispatch schedules in Global Edge and Excel dispatch boardDebrief technicians following service calls and update service detailsForecast workload 2–3 days in advance to support resource planningFollow up on open service calls and customer return visitsConfirm upcoming appointments with customers and provide status updatesMaintain accurate customer records and service database entriesMonitor and respond to incoming calls, emails, and after-hours messagesCoordinate with technicians and warehouse teams on parts availability and job readinessManage service quote logs and customer portalsEnsure calls are properly routed to on-call techniciansSupport additional administrative and operational duties as needed
