About Woodhaven:
Woodhaven Residential Treatment Center provides compassionate care for individuals on their recovery journey. We are seeking a Director of Finance / Controller to oversee financial operations and lead our finance team.

Job Overview:
The Director of Finance / Controller oversees all financial operations and accounting functions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. This role manages the finance team and plays a critical role in strategic financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee preparation of all financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
Direct all accounting operations including A/P, A/R, and general ledger
Manage annual audit process and liaise with external auditors
Ensure timely and accurate filing of all required tax returns
Implement and maintain effective internal controls
Lead and manage finance department, setting goals and mentoring staff
Develop long-term financial plans and budgets
Analyze financial performance and recommend strategies for improvement
Prepare and present regular financial reports to ownership
Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders
Implement and oversee accounting systems and technologies

Qualifications:

3-5+ years of hands-on accounting or financial management experience required
Experience leading or supervising a finance/accounting team
Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Healthcare or behavioral health experience a plus
Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred but not required - we value experience
CPR certification required (company-sponsored)
