Are you ready to bring your compassion, leadership, and clinical expertise to a team that values your dedication? At Baptist Senior Family, we're looking for a caring and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to lead exceptional resident care while making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults every day.

For over a century, Baptist Senior Family has provided exceptional care to older adults through independent living, personal care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation services. Join our mission of uplifting lives in a supportive, team-oriented environment where your skills and compassion are valued.

Why You'll Love This Role:

Every day brings the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, support your team, and positively impact the lives of our residents.

What You'll Do:

  • Assess residents and develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, IV therapy, and other nursing procedures in accordance with physician orders and current nursing standards.
  • Monitor resident conditions, document significant changes, and communicate with physicians, CRNPs, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide clinical guidance to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Nurse Aides.
  • Coordinate admissions, discharges, and resident care transitions.
  • Ensure restorative and rehabilitative care plans are implemented and documented accurately.
  • Promote a safe environment by maintaining infection prevention standards and identifying safety concerns.
  • Respond appropriately to emergency and life-saving situations following established nursing protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with federal, state, and regulatory standards.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and fellow team members while supporting Baptist Senior Family's mission and Culture of Wellness.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time 3:00pm - 11:00pm
Comprehensive Benefits:
  • Health, dental, vision, 403(b) matching, paid time off, and more—starting on day one!

Wellness Extras:
  • Free access to our on-site fitness center and pool, plus complimentary personal training sessions.

Competitive Pay:
  • Competitive hourly rates based on experience with shift and weekend differentials.

Convenient Location:
  • Located in Scott Township with free on-site parking and a PAT bus stop right at our entrance.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN license required.
  • Current CPR Certification required.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and long-term care regulations.
  • Excellent clinical assessment, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to accurately document care and communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff.
  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, resident-centered care.
