Job Description

To instruct the Natural Resource Science course NRSC 3020– Entomology one 3 hr lectures + two 2 hrs of lab per week and all associated marking
Job includes: 6.5 credits for lecture (3 hrs) and two sections of 2 hrs of lab per week (3+2+1.5 = 6.5)
A MSc in natural resource management (or related area) is preferred. Past teaching experience would be considered an asset. The candidate requires:
• Expertise and knowledge in insect identification and biology
• Expertise and knowledge in basic tools used in the field to manage pests
• A broad understanding of the role of insects in the natural environment
• Experience in entomology or pest management at a field/operational level
