Position Summary
As a Cost Controller, you will utilize your financial expertise to support project teams in evaluating project costs, maintaining budget accuracy, and providing financial insight into current and future project performance. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, financial reporting, and cash flow management while partnering with project stakeholders and vendors to ensure financial objectives are achieved. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while collaborating across multiple functions to support project success. Experience with financial analysis, reporting, AR/AP processes, ERP systems (Odoo preferred), and advanced Excel skills is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
  • Support project cost tracking and variance analysis.
  • Manage and reconcile Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial planning.
  • Monitor project costs and identify potential risks or budget concerns.
  • Support vendor invoicing, payment processing, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of accounting, finance, financial analysis, or financial reporting experience.
  • Hands-on experience with AR/AP processes.
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems; Odoo experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA)Knowledge
  • Knowledge of accounting and finance principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
  • Knowledge of cost control, variance analysis, and financial performance monitoring.
  • Knowledge of cash flow management and general financial controls.
  • Knowledge of ERP/accounting systems, with Odoo experience preferred.
Skills
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.
  • Skilled in budget tracking, forecasting, and cost management.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
