Pay Range: $41/hourly
Pacific Coast Producers (PCP), a farmer-owned agricultural cooperative with food production and distribution facilities across the West Coast, is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Journey-Level Maintenance Mechanic for our Woodland, CA Distribution Center. Our Woodland Distribution Center is a new 500,000 sq. ft. packaging, labeling, and distribution facility supporting retail and foodservice customers. With advanced technology and a strong commitment to quality and sustainability, the DC is a model for excellence in distribution and logistics.
Pay Rate: $41.00 per hour. This is a full-time, on-site role (40 hours per week), with occasional weekend and overtime hours required as needed. This position is part of a seniority based Collective Bargaining Unit (CBA) and must be available for first and second shift.

Key responsibilities include:
- Build, install, maintain, and overhaul all equipment, including pipe systems and all machinery.
- Organize and direct crews on label lines. Keep all equipment running, such as label machines, automatic casers. Make or direct necessary repairs and adjustments, cleaning and oiling.
- Determine issues by observing mechanical systems and testing and measuring equipment to determine root cause of issue(s).
- Read sketches, prints, operating instructions and proceed accordingly.
- Check materials and parts and make requisitions.
- Lay out and work from blueprints, diagrams, sketches, drawings, etc.
- Cut and form parts and assemble parts to construct machinery and equipment.
- Locate, line up and anchor machinery.
- Test and time machinery.
- Weld, including heliarc and stainless steel.
- May occasionally operate machines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Available to work first or second shift and weekends as needed.
- Reliable and able to maintain excellent attendance.
- Significant (5+ years) relevant industrial experience.
- Committed to safety and food safety, including use of appropriate PPE.
- Must possess and use personal hand tools.
- Basic fabrication capabilities, and fundamental hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, and plumbing knowledge and experience.
- Knowledge of vacuum systems, motion control systems, and HVAC systems. Must possess at least basic computer knowledge.
- Certified ability to operate/drive a forklift (a.k.a. industrial lift truck).
- Ability to create and review machine drawings and schematics.
