About the Role:

The Industrial Electrician plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems within industrial facilities. This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing high voltage electrical equipment and controls to support manufacturing and production processes. The successful candidate will interpret complex blueprints and technical diagrams to execute electrical wiring and control system tasks accurately. A strong emphasis is placed on adhering to electrical safety standards to protect personnel and equipment. Ultimately, this role contributes to minimizing downtime and optimizing the reliability of electrical infrastructure in an industrial environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent with completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program.
• Proven experience working as an industrial electrician with knowledge of high voltage systems and electrical controls.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and practices.
• Valid electrician license or certification as required by state regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) programming and troubleshooting.
• Additional certifications in industrial electrical systems or related fields.
• Familiarity with pulling wire techniques in complex industrial settings.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Advanced training in electrical safety and high voltage systems.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical wiring, equipment, and control systems including PLCs and high voltage components.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate electrical installations and troubleshooting.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and resolve electrical issues before they impact operations.
• Ensure compliance with all electrical safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to support continuous improvement and efficient operation of electrical systems.
