GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Seeking candidates with various areas of expertise and Head Start experience to provide services in technical and specialized areas such as budget, communications, contracts, grants, program oversight, program operations, training and technical assistance and disaster recovery for an upcoming opportunity.

The onsite position is located in the Administration for Children and Families, Office of Head Start.

Head Start is a national HHS program that promotes school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social, and other services to enrolled children and families.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant area/Master’s Degree preferred
  • 5-7 years of progressive relevant experience required.
  • Previous Central Office Head Start experience required
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under and meet tight deadlines and deliverables as well as manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
