Position Summary

The Product & Experience Lead owns the product vision and end-to-end user experience for Radiant’s digital products across our logistics and supply-chain services, serving both internal users and external customers.

This is a hybrid product-and-design role built around modern AI tooling. The incumbent sets direction, taste, and the experience bar, then uses AI-assisted design tools (e.g., Figma, Claude) to personal produce wireframes, prototypes, and design direction – moving quickly from concept to high fidelity.
As a senior individual contributor and player-coach, this role partners closely with a Senior Platform Services Engineer and cross-functional, distributed delivery teams, and operates with significant independence and decision-making authority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product vision & strategy – define, articulate, and steward the product vision and strategy for our digital product portfolio, balancing the needs of internal users and external customers.

  • Roadmapping & specification – Translate vision into roadmaps, prioritized outcomes, and clear, async-friendly specifications that distributed engineering teams can execute against without ambiguity.

  • End-t0-end experience ownership – Own information architecture, interaction design, user flows, and the overall quality bar across every surface.

  • Hands-on-design production – Produce wireframes, prototypes, and design direction using AI-assisted design tooling, turning product intent into tangible, high-fidelity artifacts.

  • Design system stewardship – Establish and maintain a shared design system and experience patterns in partnership with engineering, so products stay coherent as they scale.

  • Research & validation – Conduct discovery and user research; validate decisions with usage data and qualitative feedback.

  • Engineering partnership – Partner with platform engineering on feasibility and technical constraints, and sequence delivery so users are served incrementally.

  • Metrics – Define and track success metrics, including adoption, task success, and time-t0-value.

  • Stakeholder management – Manage stakeholders across the business, balancing competing needs across our services.

  • Perform other product-and-design-related tasks as assigned by the company.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in product management and/or product design, including demonstrated ownership of the vision for a complex product.

  • Proven ability to operate at two altitudes — setting product strategy *and* producing hands-on design artifacts (wireframes through high-fidelity prototypes).

  • Fluency with modern AI-assisted design tooling (e.g., Figma, Claude, AI prototyping) and the judgment to direct it toward production-intent output.

  • Strong UX fundamentals: information architecture, interaction design, and design-system thinking.

  • Experience designing for multiple distinct user types (both internal users and external customers).

  • Excellent written communication and the discipline to specify work clearly for asynchronous collaboration with distributed teams.

  • Data-informed decision-making; comfort defining and reading product metrics.

  • Proficient in English communication (verbal and written).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

  • Domain experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation management, or B2B SaaS.

  • Experience designing AI/LLM-powered product surfaces (conversational, agentic, or AI-assisted UX).

  • Front-end literacy (React) sufficient to collaborate on feasibility and design handoff.

  • Experience standing up or scaling a design system as a product.

  • Experience partnering with distributed engineering teams.

  • Experience in an organization undergoing significant growth or transformation.

  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and modern collaboration tools.

Work Schedule
  • Full-time schedule of a minimum of 8 hours per day, with the flexibility to complete all required job duties and responsibilities.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Climate-controlled office environment.

  • Usually moderate noise level.

  • Regular physical demands: sit; use hands to handle or feel; use fingers for keyboarding; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.

  • Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Language Skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, spreadsheets, emails, and instructions.

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

  • Ability to speak clearly and effectively to both internal and external contacts.
